During the rainy season, thunderstorm activity is more common, and lightning strikes may cause damage to digital printing equipment. To effectively prevent potential damage to equipment caused by adverse factors such as lightning strikes, unstable power, and sudden power outages, it is recommended to use sockets with lightning protection functions or configure voltage regulators/UPS to ensure stable operation of the equipment.

It is recommended to perform shutdown maintenance in extreme weather or unstable power conditions to avoid direct exposure of the equipment to current surges, which may cause damage to the motherboard, nozzle, or other electrical components, ensuring stable operation of the equipment.

Therefore, it is recommended to store in a cool and dark place with ventilation, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 40 ℃.

Inspection and maintenance

Digital printing equipment should be placed on a level, stable, and well ventilated floor, avoiding direct sunlight, strong light, or heat sources. Before reusing digital printing equipment after thunderstorms, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment should be conducted to ensure that all components are in normal condition. Pay special attention to checking key components such as nozzles and circuit boards for signs of moisture or damage, and clean and dry them if necessary. After the device is turned on, a test strip can be printed to check if the nozzle is blocked before it can be officially put into production.

Regularly clean and maintain digital printing equipment, keep the nozzle clean and unobstructed, prevent blockage and damage, and clean up shredded paper, paper scraps, and other debris inside the equipment to ensure its normal operation and extend its service life. If liquid splashes into the equipment, or if the equipment is exposed to rain or water, do not turn on the power for production.
