Adhesive facial material

The commonly used self-adhesive labels in daily life have two types of facial materials: paper and film:

1. Paper surface material

Paper substrates are divided into: offset paper, copperplate paper, glass cardboard, laser paper, kraft paper, fluorescent paper, gold-plated paper, aluminum foil paper, fragile (anti-counterfeiting) paper, silver plated paper, textured paper, fabric label (Tyvek/nylon) paper, pearl paper, sandwich copperplate paper, variable information paper, and so on.

2. Thin film surface material

Film substrates are divided into transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), synthetic paper, PS, PE, shape memory anti-counterfeiting materials (SMP), and so on.

Adhesive film layer material

Membrane materials can actually be classified together with facial materials, commonly used include: transparent polyester (PET), semi transparent polyester (PET), transparent oriented polypropylene (OPP), and semi transparent oriented polypropylene (OPP).

And transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC), glossy white polyvinyl chloride (PVC), matte white polyvinyl chloride (PVC), synthetic paper, glossy gold (silver) polyester, matte gold (silver) polyester, shape memory anti-counterfeiting materials, and so on.

Adhesive material

Adhesive is the soul of self-adhesive, and without its adhesive function, it cannot be called self-adhesive. The commonly used adhesive materials include: universal super adhesive type, universal strong adhesive type, refrigerated food strong adhesive type, universal re opening type, and fiber re opening type.

On the one hand, it ensures moderate adhesion between the base paper and the surface paper, and on the other hand, it ensures that the surface paper can be peeled off and have strong adhesion with the adhesive material.

Adhesive bottom material

The bottom material is generally called release paper, commonly known as "base paper". The surface is non sticky, and the base paper has an isolation effect on the adhesive. Therefore, it is used as an attachment for the surface paper to ensure that the surface paper can be easily peeled off from the base paper.

Commonly used base papers include white, blue, and yellow glassine or onion paper, kraft paper, polyester (PET), copperplate paper, and polyethylene.
